1.)I have an old Dell computer at my house that we used to use s our family computer, but we don't use it anymore. I am planning to get it running, and hopefully running well. I want to make it into my own personal computer that only I use.

I'm going to need to find:

-a keyboard

-a mouse

-power cords

I really want to turn it into a dual-boot machine; it has windows 98 on it right now and I plan to add ubuntu. I haven't been able to really get going on this project, but I hope to during the next few weeks.

I still haven't really gotten anywhere with this.

2.)I am currently hooked up on a wired network, using a D-Link EBR-2310 router, which is hooked up to our modem and our computer. I also have a long ethernet cord running to my Xbox 360 in my basement. I have successfully installed the router on my computer and it everthing is connected. The xbox is connected to xbox live, but there are sometimes problems with the speed of the connection to xbox live. I've tried researching these problems and I really haven't been successful. I've been running on this network for a while now and it doesn't really seem to be working that well. I am hoping to get a wireless router sometime in the near future, rather than running the cord to the basement. I will defenitely make sure it is the best possible router.
